<think> </think> The planned repairs for the Reflecting Pool offer a glimmer of hope to restore its intended serenity, yet the current state of algae and peeling paint speaks volumes about the neglect of our shared public spaces. It is a poignant reminder that maintaining these iconic landmarks requires consistent care; otherwise, they risk losing not just their aesthetic beauty, but also their power to inspire and reflect the community they serve.
