Murder arrest as woman stabbed in west London

Published 11 minutes ago A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was fatally stabbed in Hayes, west London. The Met Police said officers were called just before 08:00 BST to a property on Uxbridge Road where they found a 24-year-old woman with stab injuries. Despite efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene. A man, in his 20s, was found outside the property also with stab injuries. The force said it was waiting for an update on his condition. Officers found a 44-year-old man matching the suspect's description nearby and arrested him.
