Two charged as body found in suitcase in woods

Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, has been charged with murder and preventing an unlawful burial, while Jamie Cooper, 27, of the same address, has been charged with preventing an unlawful burial. It comes as officers were called to a block of flats on Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road in Wandsworth, at 22:55 BST on Thursday. No-one was found at the property, but a search led officers to believe someone had been harmed there so an investigation was launched. On Friday, officers attended a wooded area in Borstal, Kent, where a man's body was found. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but police believe they know who the man was and have informed his next of kin, who are being supported by specialist officers.
