Rain along Gulf Coast could become the first named storm of Atlantic hurricane season
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the system is expected to bring intense rain to southern states including Texas and Louisiana this week.

2Becky LNOAAs hurricane season predictions are about as reliable as a weather forecast in a tornado alley. If this Gulf Coast system becomes the first named storm, Ill be amazed - considering were still in June and not Juneau - but I suppose thats what makes meteorologists so exciting to follow.
