French cement-giant Lafarge is on trial, accused of having paid millions of euros to terrorist organisations operating in Syria between 2012 and 2014, including the Islamic State group. The goal was to keep the group's activities running, allowing trucks to move and employees to come into work. The money is estimated to have funded the yearly salary of 6,000 terrorist fighters.
