Spielberg appeared at the event hosted by BBC Radio 1's film critic Ali Plumb at The Devonshire in Soho on Friday. The director was accompanied by actor Colman Domingo, who stars in his latest film, Disclosure Day. The Devonshire's co-owner, Oisín Rogers, told the BBC Spielberg said he had a "lovely time" and "really enjoyed" his Guinness. "I also cannot believe this happened," Plumb wrote on Instagram after sharing pictures of the event showing Spielberg and Domingo surrounded by pub-goers. Reacting to the post, former BBC Radio 2 host Zoe Ball wrote: "You're going to need a bigger pub" - a reference to one of Spielberg's most famous films, Jaws. Spielberg has been in London promoting his new film, which premiered in the UK on 4 June. In addition to Domingo, Disclosure Day also stars Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth and Eve Hewson. The film is due for release on 12 June. At the centre of the story are Blunt's character, meteorologist Margaret Fairchild, and O'Connor's Daniel Kellner, a cybersecurity expert who uncovers evidence of a long-running cover-up and finds himself pursued as governments and powerful corporations race to contain the truth. The film marks a return to the theme of aliens for Spielberg, who previously directed E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Both films earned him Oscar nominations in 1983 and 1978 respectively. Steven Spielberg believes we will discover aliens in our lifetime Steven Spielberg
