Officers hurt as police boat hits Westminster Bridge
Published 24 July 2026, 17:01 BST Updated 5 minutes ago Five Metropolitan Police officers have been injured after a police boat struck Westminster Bridge in central London. The incident occurred at about 15:40 BST. The hurt officers are being treated although the extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed. The Met said the boat was from the Marine Policing Unit and "a number of officers entered the water, but were recovered".
