Algeria beats Sudan 3-0 in Africa Cup of Nations opener

Algeria started their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 3-0 win over Sudan on Wednesday. Captain Riyad Mahrez scored twice, including a goal within the first two minutes, and Ibrahim Maza added a late third as the 2019 champions opened their Group E campaign in Rabat.
