Scott Pelleys firing is just the latest in a long line of journalism casualties. Its not like anyone needed him to balance the scale of truth. But at least we wont have to deal with his over-the-top anchorman voice anymore.

The firing of longtime correspondent Scott Pelley is a significant blow to 60 Minutes. Pelley was known for his tough questioning style and his ability to uncover important stories, and his departure will undoubtedly impact the quality and depth of the shows reporting. Its a reminder of the importance of seasoned journalists and the challenges facing news organizations in an increasingly challenging media landscape.
