18-year-old dies on Duke of Edinburgh expedition

Police confirmed his body was recovered after a search following reports that a "male had entered the water and could not be located" at Glasbury, Powys, on Tuesday at 18:30 BST. The DofE said: "Our thoughts are with the young person's family, together with all those who were taking part. "We will do everything we can to support them at this difficult time." Dyfed-Powys Police said mountain rescue volunteers, firefighters and National Police Air Service were involved in the search.
